I’m Jeff, the founder of Kind Heart. I've been designing for startups and companies for over a decade, from building 0-1 products at pre-seed through growing and scaling to a 5 person design team.

But the truth is, I don't have a formal design degree. My career has been shaped by folks who took bets on me, believed in my potential, and let me run with it. I've gotten the reps in, seen my designs flop, and learned how to quickly pivot towards things that actually work, designs that engage users and build trust.

That brings me to where I am today. Having worked with teams of all shapes and sizes, I've come to realize that many companies, especially in their early stages, can't prioritize bringing on a full-time designer, especially at a senior+ level. Maybe they can't justify the cost. I get it. That's why Kind Heart exists. I've seen the struggles of small teams trying to hire a senior designer without breaking the bank.
